چکیده

Homomorphic Encryption is a recent promising tool in modern cryptography, that allows to carry out operations on encrypted data. In this paper we focus on the design of a scheme based on pairings and elliptic curves, that is able to handle applications where the number of multiplication is not too high, with interesting practical efficiency when compared to lattice based solutions. The starting point is the Boneh-Goh-Nissim (BGN for short) encryption scheme [1], which enables the homomorphic evaluation of polynomials of degree at most 2 on ciphertexts. In our scheme, we use constructions coming from [2,3], to propose a variant of BGN scheme that can handle the homomorphic evaluation of polynomials of degree at most 4. We discuss both the mathematical structure of the scheme, and its implementation. We provide simulation results, showing the relevance of this solution for applications requiring a low multiplicative depth, and give relative comparison with respect to lattice based homomorphic encryption schemes.

Homomorphic Encryption for Multiplications and Pairing Evaluation

We propose a generic approach to design homomorphic encryption schemes, which extends Gjøsteen’s framework. From this generic method, we deduce a new homomorphic encryption scheme in a composite-order subgroup of points of an elliptic curve which admits a pairing e : G ×G → Gt. This scheme has some interesting theoretical and practical properties: it allows an arbitrary number of multiplication...

Comparing the Pairing Efficiency over Composite-Order and Prime-Order Elliptic Curves

We provide software implementation timings for pairings over composite-order and prime-order elliptic curves. Composite orders must be large enough to be infeasible to factor. They are modulus of 2 up to 5 large prime numbers in the literature. There exists size recommendations for two-prime RSA modulus and we extend the results of Lenstra concerning the RSA modulus sizes to multi-prime modulus...

A Scalable Implementation of Fully Homomorphic Encryption Built on NTRU

In this paper we report on our work to design, implement and evaluate a Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) scheme. Our FHE scheme is an NTRU-like cryptosystem, with additional support for efficient key switching and modulus reduction operations to reduce the frequency of bootstrapping operations. Ciphertexts in our scheme are represented as matrices of 64-bit integers. The basis of our design i...

Scale-Invariant Fully Homomorphic Encryption over the Integers

At Crypto 2012, Brakerski constructed a scale-invariant fully homomorphic encryption scheme based on the LWE problem, in which the same modulus is used throughout the evaluation process, instead of a ladder of moduli when doing “modulus switching”. In this paper we describe a variant of the van Dijk et al. FHE scheme over the integers with the same scale-invariant property. Our scheme has a sin...

Quantum Homomorphic Encryption for Circuits of Low T-gate Complexity

Fully homomorphic encryption is an encryption method with the property that any computation on the plaintext can be performed by a party having access to the ciphertext only. Here, we formally define and give schemes for quantum homomorphic encryption, which is the encryption of quantum information such that quantum computations can be performed given the ciphertext only. Our schemes allow for ...
